Anya/Anastasia
Brave, fiery, witty, and above all determined. Strong actress and singer. Mezzo.
Dmitry
Scoundrel with a heart of gold. Strong actor and singer. Tenor.
Vlad
Dmitryβs partner in crime, and surrogate father. Comic baritone.
Countess Lily
Lady-in-waiting to the Dowager Empress, clever and fun. Strong actor, singer and mover/dancer. Mezzo with a belt.
Gleb
Villain of the show, a deeply conflicted man, infatuated with Anya. Baritone.
Czar Nicholas
Kind family man who loves his children. He is terrible as a leader and easily swayed and manipulated by his advisors.
Czarina Alexandra
Graceful and very religious, and a stern mother. β
