Join A Better Tomorrow for a brilliant day out as we mark Recovery Month out on the green!
This is a day for golfers of all abilities to come together, share a passion for the outdoors and make a real difference to people in our recovery community. Whether you're a seasoned player or just love a good day out, everyone is very welcome here.
Arriving from 9:00 am, you'll be greeted with breakfast, a chance to meet your team, hear from Scott, Martin and the team at The Shropshire to get your bearings before teeing off at 10:30 am.*
⛳ Teams should be made up of 3-4 players.
📢 We need 24 teams to have a shotgun start!
Throughout the day, you'll also have the chance to take part in additional competitions, including nearest to the pin and longest strike, plus a raffle with some great prizes to be won. We will be playing a scramble game, so everyone's in for a chance to win!
Recovery Month runs throughout September, so this midway point feels like a great chance to get outside, get talking, connect with people who share your values, and raise the profile of the power of recovery. You'll have the opportunity to meet the ABT team and hear from individuals in recovery. Let's break the stigma together!
🟣 We encourage players to wear a splash of purple - the colour of recovery. It represents compassion, understanding, and support for those overcoming substance use and the professionals who walk alongside them.
Every pound raised goes towards our transport fund. As we continue to grow, so does the demand for transport for the clients we support. Getting our clients out into the community and opening the door to volunteering, education, and so much more is a crucial part of the programme here at ABT.
