TEDxLive Community Fundraiser

Join us for an inspiring and community driven TEDxShorelineDrive Live experience in the heart of Long Beach.

This special fundraiser brings us together to watch powerful and thought provoking TED Talks from this year’s TED Conference in Vancouver,CA. Sit back, enjoy popcorn and a catered lunch from Islands Restaurant, and immerse yourself in ideas that challenge, inspire, and move us forward.

You will also have the opportunity to connect with our 2026 TEDxShorelineDrive speaker lineup and Board of Directors, hear directly about their journeys, and gain insight into what it truly takes to prepare for the TEDx stage.

This event is for you if:

1. You are passionate about community and giving back
2. You are curious about what it takes to become a TEDx speaker
3. You want to learn how to prepare for your own TEDx talk
4. You are interested in understanding the TEDx application process
5. You want to be in a room filled with like minded individuals who are ready to grow, be inspired, and take action

Whether you are exploring the idea of one day sharing your own story or you simply want to be part of something meaningful, this experience is designed to leave you energized and empowered.

Join us on Saturday, May 9th at 11 a.m. for our inaugural community event and fundraiser as we begin the journey toward our main stage this fall.

Giving Back to Our Community ❤️

Proceeds from this fundraiser will support Long Beach Forward, a community based organization advancing racial, economic, and environmental justice by empowering residents, strengthening local leadership, and advocating for equitable policies.

We are also proud to support the Center for Black Student Excellence, which uplifts Black youth through academic support, mentorship, cultural affirmation, and leadership development.

In addition, we will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Long Beach Community Table to support local families, as well as arts and crafts supplies for Little Eagles Daycare to encourage creativity and learning for young children.

All benefiting organizations are rooted right here in Long Beach, making this a true community centered effort.
