Teddy the rescue pup is turning ONE! 🐾 Come celebrate with friendly dogs, treats, and tail-wagging fun at the Whitecourt Off Leash Dog Park!
March 21 ~ 6pm
One year ago, Teddy’s story began in the cold of a March night. His mom and her sister had been abandoned in a crate outside a trailer. That very night, she gave birth to one tiny puppy — Teddy.
The next day, kind neighbors checking on the property discovered a newborn puppy, his young mother, and her sister trying to survive the freezing temperatures. Thanks to caring people stepping in, Teddy’s mom was given a loving home, her sister was adopted, and the little puppy began his search for a family.
At the same time, our hearts were still broken after losing our husky Bear of 15 years just three months earlier. We weren’t sure if we were ready for another dog… but when we met Teddy at just four weeks old, we instantly fell in love.
Now Teddy is twice the size of his mom, full of personality, and one of the happiest, most loving dogs you’ll ever meet. His absolute favorite thing in the world is playing with other dogs at the park.
So to celebrate his incredible first year and the happy ending he deserves, we’re throwing Teddy a 1st Birthday Paw-ty and inviting the whole community.
