The Teddy Bear Clinic is a fun, hands-on program run by students from the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University. Children bring their favourite stuffed animal and role-play different medical scenarios, such as routine doctor’s visits, hospital settings (like x-ray imaging, fracture clinics, or the operating room), and health stations promoting physical well-being and hand hygiene. The goal is to help kids feel more comfortable with medical procedures by giving them a safe, friendly, and playful way to explore the healthcare environment.Presented in partnership with the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University.
This is a drop-in program for children ages 3 to 9 years old with a caregiver.
