Techscaler Takeaways: Tales from Silicon Valley

In February 2024, Techscaler launched its first pop-up hub in Silicon Valley. Located at Mindspace, a San Francisco coworking space, the month-long pilot programme immersed 12 Scottish tech startup founders in the heart of the global startup ecosystem.

This event will feature a panel discussion and Q&A with the founders themselves. They’ll share their learnings, reflections, and firsthand experiences from the trip.

You'll hear from fellow founders based in Scotland and who were present on the trip, about their learnings and key takeaways from their experience in Silicon Valley. There will be a panel discussion with founders led by CodeBase team members, with opportunities to ask questions. We'll cover a range of topics including innovation, connection, collaboration and AI - and how to not shy away from investment, high growth and numbers!

Scotland is an innovative ecosystem to establish and grow businesses, so we want to explore what learning opportunities and inspiration we can take from San Francisco to apply here in our regions.

Our panel, hosted by CodeBase, is made up of a variety of founders at different stages who live and work in Scotland. They are members of Techscaler and keen to share their stories with the wider community. The event is based in Barclays Eagle Labs Glasgow, and the regional events team will be there to host you; giving you time to network and have some light refreshments prior to the panel discussion.

This event is open to all members of the community who are keen to learn about the takeaways from the Silicon Valley trip. We especially encourage the attendance of founders at any stage in their journey, from Ideation to Scaleup. If you're interested in the US market or trends in the startup world, this event is for you.

We ask everyone to sign up individually, so we can have an estimate of how many people want to attend.

We will also check-in each person on Eventbrite as they join the event so make sure you've signed up to the event in order to attend!
