Technicolor Skies: The Sky's The Limit to Creating Glorious Glowing Skyscapes

Everyone loves a beautiful sky and your landscape paintings will have more impact when you master a range of styles, from dawn to sunset, to a vividly clear day, to a thunderstorm,
to exploring the various characteristics of cloud formations and techniques for painting a wide variety of them. You’ll leave with a comfort level for capturing the drama of all of these scenes and you will be adding excitement and diversity to your landscapes.
Week 1: November 6th. Morning Sunrise
The colors of a glowing Morning Sunrise over distant mountains will be our first exploration into painting skies.
Week 2: November 13th. Vivid Sunset
A variety of wet-in-wet techniques will be used to create a Vivid Sunset as the sky glows with all its brilliant colors.
Week 3: November 20th Clouds
Fluffy Clouds & More Clouds on bright clear days are so beautiful to view and thrilling to paint because they seem magical as they glow & gently flow in the sky.
NO CLASS November 27th
Week 4: December 4th Thunderclouds and Rainy Days
Thunderclouds and a Rainy Day easily become a part of landscapes when you master the techniques that we’ll cover in this final class of the series.
