About this Event

Join us for a nationally recognized, three-day Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue (TLAER) Awareness and Operations Level Course!
This in-depth training teaches lifesaving techniques for handling large animal emergencies such as trailer accidents, barn fires, natural disasters, and loose livestock incidents.

Led by Dr. Rebecca Husted, a nationally renowned TLAER instructor, this course combines lecture, live demonstrations, and interactive learning.

🕗 Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (All three days)
📍 Location: Butler Tech Natural Science Center – 640 Hamilton Lebanon Rd, Monroe, OH 45050

What You’ll Learn:
  • Safe handling and restraint techniques for large animals in crisis
  • Scene safety, coordination, and use of rescue equipment

  • How to work alongside vets, owners, and first responders during emergencies

Continuing Education (CE) Credits Available

This course qualifies for up to 16 hours of CE credit for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and fire personnel.
Certificates will be provided at the end of the training.
