Tech Hub Workshop: Picture Perfect

Digital CPR for your photo memories.
Picture Perfect is an instructor-led workshop designed to introduce you to the basics of digital photo restoration using a free, web-based photo editor. Each participant will have access to a computer workstation for hands-on learning throughout the session. This easy-to-use online environment also provides the perfect foundation for exploring the library’s Adobe Creative Cloud tools at your own pace—helping you continue your creative journey long after the workshop ends.
Participants will learn to:
- Crop & straighten – remove unwanted borders and align old scans.
- Adjust color & exposure – revive faded images and improve brightness or contrast.
- Repair dust & scratches – use the Spot Healing Brush to clean up damage.
- Sharpen & enhance – recover detail from soft or blurry images.
- Save & export for sharing – create a digital copy ready for archiving or reprinting.
- Use our online scheduling tool to book time in the Tech Hub spaces.
The first hour will be a hands-on demonstration with an optional 30 minutes of independent edit and explore time at the end. Participants may bring ONE of their own photos to edit at the end of the workshop (should time permit).
