This certification validates that prehospital providers (Everyday Civilians, EMTs, Paramedics, LEOs) can deliver life-saving care in dangerous, high-threat civilian environments like active, shooter or mass casualty events, adapting military Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) principles for civilian needs, focusing on hemorrhage control and rapid casualty movement through Direct Threat, Indirect Threat, TECC (Tactical Emergency Casualty and Evacuation care phases. It's a recognized program, often by NAEMT, providing essential skills for managing trauma when scenes aren't secure.
Law Enforcement attendees can also use this to achieve their mandatory “Contact Training Hours” 🚓👮♂️🚨
