Join Us for Team Up 2 Clean Up!Are you ready to make a positive impact in your community? Sterling Main Street invites you to participate in our Team Up 2 Clean Up downtown clean-up days. This is a fantastic opportunity to help beautify our downtown area, meet new people, and show your pride in Sterling.
Our clean-up days take place, weather permitting, on the 4th Saturday of each month from 10 AM until Noon, March through October. Whether you can volunteer once, twice, or every month, your contribution will make a significant difference. Together, we can create a cleaner, more inviting downtown for everyone to enjoy.
We meet in Dale Park, at the foot of Locust Street (next door to Brink’s) and disperse from there. Safety vests, gloves, garbage bags and grabbers are provided. Just bring yourself (and friends and family) and wear comfy shoes!
This activity is open to all ages and abilities. It’s a great opportunity for area youth to earn IMPACT hours toward Sauk Valley Community College, or other service hours for school related programs.
Preregistration for IMPACT students is strongly encouraged to ensure proper credit via the Impact website. Registration for the general public is not required, but you can Sign Up for updates, and be part of this important initiative. Let’s work together to make Sterling shine!
