Teachers Unleashed: School’s Out! is a comedy show featuring a lineup of local educators letting loose for one night only. Teachers, bus drivers, and secretaries are finally unleashed! No lesson plans or parent emails. No pretending they like your kid’s science project.

Eddie McCarthy is a high school math teacher in Toledo by day and a clean, relatable stand-up comic by night. After 15 years in the classroom and 2½ years in comedy, he’s become a regular on local shows and has hosted weekends in comedy clubs for touring comedians. His material focuses on real life—parenting two kids, surviving the classroom, and finding humor in the everyday.
Rachel Leigh is Bowling Green’s most tolerated female comic. You may have seen her doing comedy across the Toledo area over the past 5 years, but recently she’s taken a brief hiatus since giving birth to her son. Rachel is a local teacher who got into education for the same reason everyone does- money and fame. Teaching special education for the last 10 years has taught her not to take herself too seriously, something she brings to her classroom and the stage alike.
Jeffrey Bartlett is a comedian, a musician and a combat veteran of the USMC. He has worked for Toledo Public Schools as a Substitute Teacher and Paraprofessional. He currently serves as Student Services Assistant at Toledo School for the Arts. Jeffrey has been performing for 20 years in theatre, as a musician and has written several poorly executed plays. Jeffrey Bartlett combines anti-comedy, physical comedy and music. He is known for his extremely entertaining, wildly creative, silly and unpredictable comedy style.
Whether in the principal's office or on the school bus, Wendy Kiser devotes her day to juggling the craziness of working with over 2,000 kids! After 20 years of working with students, you know she has needed humor to help her survive.
