About this Event
Enjoy a day of professional development at the Lindsay Wildlife Experience! The day begins with Danika Heaney, a local climate scientist sharing their work in the field and engaging us in a hands on activity. Next we will share resources on Climate Change to support your instruction. In the afternoon, our focus turns toward strategies to support Multilingual Learners in science. The day will end with an Engineering Design Challenge related to wildlife habitats. We will also have an up close visit from two feathered friend rescues!
