In this five-week pastoral-led study, you are invited to explore prayer as a place of meeting God. Using Richard Foster’s Prayer: Finding the Heart’s True Home, we will learn several forms of prayer and take time each week to practice them together. Four sessions will focus on a specific prayer practice, and one session will be a Taizé-style prayer service centered on rest and silence.Whether prayer feels familiar or uncertain, this study offers space to listen for God’s presence in the midst of everyday life.
The book is available in Pastor Amy's office with a suggested donation of $14. Feel free to order your own as well. It is available at several online book sellers. It's a resource and not mandatory in order to participate in the study.
