Explore the difference between true tea and herbal blends, taste several varieties, and learn simple brewing techniques you can use at home. This beginner friendly workshop includes a guided tasting, printed Tea 101 reference card, and a take home tea sample.
This class is Part 1 of our three-part tea education series.
What you will learn:
• What tea is and how it differs from herbal blends
• Black, green, oolong, and herbal tea basics
• How to taste tea using aroma, body, and finish
• Brewing techniques including temperature and steep time
• Light wellness insights related to energy, calm, and digestion
Class will Include:
• Tasting of 3–4 teas
• Guided tea vocabulary lesson
• Tea 101 card
• One tea bag or mini sample to take home.
Parking: you can use the parking right in front of the building (it is paid parking) or the parking lot across from the store is available - free parking.
