Misha's kicking off Spooky Season by opening up the doors to the Cypress Pillar virtual and in person Classroom to host her popular Meet the Cards Introduction to Tarot class!
Join us for a relaxing, low pressure night of tea (if you come in person your registration includes tasty tea!) and learning how to read tarot. We will dive into the world of tarot, first learning a bit about tarot history and busting myths & misconceptions. Then we will explore the different types of cards and how they work. Misha will share different ways to read the deck, and meet a few of Misha's favorite decks. Then we will have a section of class will be dedicated to giving folks a chance to practice their reading skills, receiving gentle feedback if they'd like and if not Misha will do a demo reading to walk folks through different ways to do a reading. Misha will teach you how to do a deck interview, how to start working with a brand new deck, and more!

BEGINNERS ARE WELCOME! This class is *amazing* for beginners or folks who are just starting to flex their intuitive muscles, as well as folks who've been working with cards for a while and would like to connect to others in a supportive magic friendly community and practice their reading skills.

About your card-slinging host: Misha has a long standing crush on all things divination based, and has dabbled in a variety of forms her whole life. A deeply sensitive empath and intuitive, she first fell in love with cards back in high school and has worked extensively with oracle cards especially since then. She's a prime example of how you can be absolutely terrified of tarot but if you find an amazing teacher who helps you learn how to use them you can over come that and discover the ways you can intuitively use them for guidance and support. Misha is a certified Reiki Master, a practicing and certified Shaman and certified Clinical Herbalist (Registered Herbalist through the American Herbalist Guild), and is generally a teacher of many things. Our tarot classes are fun, funny, inclusive and supportive and are open to *all* regardless of skill or belief system
