About this Event
Step inside the home where history was made and discover where Kate Sheppard led the world’s first successful suffrage campaign. It's an essential story for everyone from 7 year olds to 107 year olds! Righting inequality and fighting against the exclusion women suffered was Sheppard's aim. Her determination to change the law and bring about democractic rights for half our pipulation is inspiring to learn and reflect on.
