About this Event
Te Kai a te Rangatira and Ināia Tonu Nei are coming together to host a community gathering in Whāngarei. Both kaupapa share a common thread: the belief that our people hold the answers, and that real change happens through conversation, connection, and collective commitment.
This March, we're bringing the kōrero to Whāngarei.
What to Expect
An intimate evening of conversation with Tā Mark Solomon, Eugene Ryder— kaikōrero who bring deep experience and insight around service, whakapapa, and what it takes to create meaningful change in our communities.
This is not a lecture or a conference.
It’s a kitchen‑table kōrero — the kind that stays with you long after you leave.
· Cup of tea provided.
· Free entry - registration required
· Whānau welcome.
The evening will be filmed (not livestreamed) to help carry these kōrero beyond the room and into the wider community.
A Note About Filming
This event will be filmed so the kōrero shared can continue to feed our people well beyond those in attendance.
What this means for you:
· The event will be recorded using cameras and audio equipment
· Footage may be edited and shared via Te Kai a te Rangatira and Ināia Tonu Nei social media, YouTube, and future kaupapa resources
· If you prefer not to be on camera, please let our team know on arrival and we will seat you accordingly
