Join us for a warm, reflective workshop exploring the Māori concepts of Aroha (love, compassion) and Whanaungatanga (connection, belonging). Through guided kōrero/sharing and gentle practices, we’ll deepen our understanding of how these values can strengthen relationships, community, and collective wellbeing for all in Aotearoa.Come as you are, open to learn in a warm environment as Te Tiriti partners and together we’ll rediscover the power of care, reciprocity, and meaningful connection through the deep wisdom of Te Ao Māori/the Māori world.
This is a Community Circle so all genders are welcome (encouraged) to attend.
Dr Annie Southern has taught Indigenous concepts including Māori concepts from the position of tangata Tiriti in other settings acknowledging the responsibility of tangata Tiriti to understand the world of tangata whenua.
