About this Event
Especially created for Caregivers that have studied TBRI.
After taking this training you will better understand attachment, be able to identify your specific adult attachment pattern and learn what changes you can make to be more connected with your child. Better understanding of ourselves and our connection history helps us better connect with our children that in turn leads a decrease in stressful situations.
We all have attachment styles that were formed very early in life that continue to influence our current relationships. Experts find that understanding our attachment style, as a parent, can be the biggest single predictor of a good outcome for our children. Often, we are unaware of how our attachment patterns keep us from connecting with our kids and trigger worse behavior in them, despite our best intentions. Join us as we explore, identify and plan specific steps using a video presentation produced by the staff of Texas Christian University's Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development
Presenter Info: The class is being facilitated by Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) Practitioner Ernie Casarez.
