About this Event

Join us in Toronto for the next installment of The Brand is Female Conversation Series presented by TD Women in Enterprise!
This February, we’re spotlighting two dynamic women founders who are shaping the future of consumer goods by tapping into technology, digital platforms, and innovation to redefine how brands connect with customers and solve real-world problems.

Meet the Founders:

Jayme Jenkins – Co-Founder & Chief Brand Officer, Everist
Jayme Jenkins is co-founder and chief brand officer of Everist, a Toronto-based beauty and personal care innovator known for its award-winning waterless shampoo, conditioner, and body wash concentrates. Frustrated with the traditional industry’s reliance on water-filled plastic packaging, Jayme and her co-founder launched Everist to deliver clean, plant-forward formulas in highly sustainable packaging that reduce waste and carbon footprint while maintaining premium performance. The brand has been recognized among Canada’s top growing companies and featured in major outlets for its groundbreaking approach to product formulation and sustainable consumer goods.

In leveraging digital channels, Everist has built a direct-to-consumer model that engages customers through social media storytelling, digital community building, and e-commerce strategies that support brand discovery, retention, and advocacy.

Jennifer Boville – Co-Founder & CEO, Farm Girl
Jennifer Boville is co-founder and CEO of Farm Girl Cereal, a nutritious, wholesome cereal brand built around real-food ingredients and a mission to improve children’s nutrition with products families can trust. Jennifer transitioned from a long corporate career into entrepreneurship and has grown Farm Girl by leaning into digital platforms, community engagement, and agile product development. With nearly a thousand recipe iterations before launch and a grassroots brand-building approach, she underscores resilience, customer feedback, and iterative innovation in scaling a consumer food brand.

Farm Girl’s growth story is rooted in digital marketing, direct customer engagement, and leveraging social media to build a loyal community, demonstrating how even legacy categories like cereal can be reimagined through technology-enabled brand-building.

Why You Should Join:
In this conversation, Jayme and Jennifer will explore what it takes to build and scale consumer goods brands in a digital era, including how technology has enabled new product discovery, enhanced customer engagement, and supported sustainable and mission-driven business models. Expect a candid discussion about:

  • Building authentic brand communities through digital platforms and e-commerce.
  • Using data and customer feedback to iterate products and strengthen market fit.
  • Overcoming operational challenges in scaling consumer goods ventures.
  • The intersection of purpose, technology, and commerce in reshaping the future of consumer-facing industries.
