Licensed/Certified health care professionals who have had formal training in giving injections (RN's, LPN's, MA's, etc.) Description: The TB Fundamental and Renewal Classes will now be available online. The coursework will be reviewed by the individual through the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) website. "TB 101 Course" - takes about 50" Just like Part One of the BLS course, Part One of "TB 101 Course" is taken online then participants sign up for a "TB 101 Skills Check Off Session" on the LHN Education catalog.
If an associate, register for the TB 101 course by searching for the class in the ALC catalog
If a non-associate go to Allen County Department of Health website:
www.allencountyhealth.com, scroll down to find TB 101 instructions. "TB 101 Skills Check Off - takes about 45" Direction for associates: •Access the Advanced Learning Center •Locate "TB 101 Course" and self enroll (course ID: 2018 -2019 LHN: TB 101 - HOSP-952582060) •Complete the online course and test •Register for a "TB 101 Skills Check Off" Session on the LHN Education Catalog. •Bring your completed test/transcript to the Check Off Session. NOTE: Dates may change, please check Website, Fliers, and Education Stations.
•Print the TB 101 Test. Minimum passing score is 80%
Schedule a check-off session no later than 60 days after reviewing the course and doing the test, register on the http://www.lutheranhealth.net/interior.php?t=17
