We are pleased to be able to offer in partnership with West Suffolk Council a 30 minute Theory assessment and 1 hour practical assessment for taxi and private hire drivers.
This theory and practical assessments are for candidates who either work or wish to pursue a career as licenced taxi driver in the passenger transport sector for West Suffolk Council.
The session will start with some theory questions on customer service, transporting people with disabilities, road awareness and the Highway Code. Drivers will then complete a practical assessment with a registered instructor. The practical session will review things like controlled stops, reversing, manoeuvres, signals and more.
The assessment is scored by the instructor and their findings will be a pass or fail.

In the event of cancellation by the client not less than 10 working days before the course, the client will be entitled to a refund of 80% of the course fee (20% will be deducted for administration costs). A cancellation within 10 days of commencement will result in no refund to the client
