*The various 501(c) nonprofit categories and the ones that provide a tax advantage for donors
*How designation of all or part of your 2026 Required Minimum *Distribution might reduce your taxes. (RMDs must be withdrawn annually from a SEP or IRA account held by those age 72+.)

About the Speaker:
A proud Coastside native, John William Parsons is deeply involved in the local community. He serves as head coach of the Half Moon Bay High School Boys’ Varsity Basketball team and runs a successful youth basketball program. His innovative coaching style was even featured in USA Today, and he’s been inducted into the Half Moon Bay High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
John William is also a passionate advocate for financial literacy, teaching Financial Basics courses at local high schools to empower the next generation with essential money skills.
He holds a dual degree in Accounting and Psychology from Claremont McKenna College, along with a Leadership Sequence. Outside of work, John William enjoys cooking, yoga, golf, hikes on the coast and staying active.
