Tavlinka Workshop 2026Join Siegurd Van Leusen and explore the traditional craft of birch bark working in this hands-on Tavlinka workshop. Using time-honoured techniques, you’ll create your own decorated Tavlinka—a functional birch bark jar historically used in Russia to store valuables, tobacco, sugar, and salt.
Working step by step in a relaxed, supportive setting, you’ll learn essential skills while adding your own stamped or patterned designs. By the end of the workshop, you’ll take home a unique, handcrafted piece made entirely by you.
