πΏ Alan Burnell, President of the Australian Institute of Horticulture, will provide an informative talk on the role and vision of AIH and present past projects and environmental gardens that AIH have been instrumental in implementing. This includes the work completed for Shade Smart at the Melbourne International Garden Show with Costa and Clarence of Gardening Australia, the Inala Gardens in Tasmania and the Gayndah River Walk.
πΏ Alan has over 50 years of experience in the horticulture industry, and sees the role of AIH as a compelling voice demanding change with a sustainable vision for the future. Through horticulture, AIH aims to repair what has been destroyed, bring about change through engagement and ongoing environmental management, and work closely with and learn from Indigenous Australia.
