Acoustic Rosewood is a trio composed of Cory Fronte on rhythm guitar and lead and harmony vocals, Louie DeMayo on lead guitar, mandolin and lead vocals and Allen Cohen on upright bass and lead vocals. Allen and Louie played in bluegrass bands together years ago and reconnected last year and was added to the then existing duo of Cory and Louie. Acoustic Rosewood’s music falls into the Americana genre, with selections from bluegrass, classic country, folk, blues and today’s singer-songwriters.
About Tavern Concerts:
This indoor winter concert series takes place in the Guyon Tavern, located on Richmond Road. The Tavern boasts a wood-burning stove, flickering candles, live music and the true feel of a 19th century saloon. Beverage options harken back to the period and include hot spiced apple cider, homemade mulled wine, as well as a refreshing selection of beers. A variety of musical acts perform in the tavern each season. Solo acts, duos and mid-sized bands present folk songs of the young American Republic, original songs, and modern covers. Tavern Concerts provide an authentic unplugged musical experience true to the taverns of 1820s America; microphones, amplifiers, and other conveniences are absent.
