TavCon 2026

Riddle & Rook is organizing a TTRPG convention that celebrates both that classic starting point of epic adventure and Sonoma County’s unique culture: TavCon! Join us to participate in unforgettable gaming experiences while enjoying award-winning beer.

To reserve a seat in an individual game, click "Buy Tickets" and buy a ticket for that game. Once all of the seats are taken, you won't be able to buy more tickets to that game. Our scheduled game lineup includes:

Morning session:

• FULL: D&D 5e: Classic fantasy adventure in space!
• Daggerheart (ages 13+): Classic fantasy adventure
• FULL: Pirate Borg: Swashbuckling fun at the end of the world!
• Savage Worlds (ages 13+): Cold War SpecOps against the forces of darkness!
• Triangle Agency: Monster-hunting workplace comedy!
• Mecha vs. Kaiju (ages 13+, designed by a SoCo local!): Pilot giant robots! Fight giant monsters!
• Tarotweaver (ages 13+, designed by a SoCo local!): Whimiscal dungeon-crawling with a deck of tarot cards!

Afternoon session:

• D&D 5e (ages 13+): Classic fantasy adventure!
• Vaesen: Solve supernatural mysteries in 19th century Sweden!
• Candela Obscura: Solve supernatural mysteries in a dark, Victorian-inspired world!
• Scum & Villainy: Star Wars-inspired fun at the edge of the galaxy!
• Fate: Scooby Doo meets Willy Wonka meets your worst nightmares!
• Monster of the Week: Take on the things that go bump in the night!
• Cairn 2e (ages 13+): Fast, whimsical dungeon-crawling inspired by original D&D!

Info: We will have seven different TTRPGs running during our Morning Session! When you buy a ticket, you are also reserving a seat at one of those tables. WARNING: For one-shot games like these, you must be there for the entire play session. Morning games start at 10AM sharp! If you are not in your seat by 10:10AM, your seat will be given away to another player and you will not be refunded your ticket price. Weather permitting, you'll still be able to play drop-in games at Cuver's outdoor patio.

Info: We will have seven different TTRPGs running during our Afternoon Session! When you buy a ticket, you are also reserving a seat at one of those tables. WARNING: For one-shot games like these, you must be there for the entire play session. Afternoon games start at 2:30PM sharp! If you are not in your seat by 2:40PM, your seat will be given away to another player and you will not be refunded your ticket price. Weather permitting, you'll still be able to play drop-in games at Cuver's outdoor patio.

Info: Do you want to just come hang out on Cuver’s outdoor patio, play games with your friends, and enjoy a few beers with other gamers? Then get a ticket for our Open Play Area! We'll have access to this space for the entire day, so you can also come game here before or after your scheduled game.

Weather permitting, we’ll have tables set out where you can congregate and play. We’ll have some simple RPGs lying around (like maybe some ICRPG and Honey Heist!) that you can pick up and try out. You may even be able to drop into another game that someone else is running! Also, gamers with Open Play tickets will have priority for any seats at the scheduled TavCon games that open up on the day of (e.g., if someone misses the start time of their scheduled game).
