ENG 🎭 Spring Children's Folk Dance Event in London!
Dear Families, Children, and Everyone Who Loves to Dance!
As the leaves all turn green the 'táncház' season continues, bringing you the next Children`s Dance Event. We invite you to a cheerful afternoon full of music, dancing, and authentic folk traditions!
📅 Date: 9th of May 2026. – 4 PM
📍 Location: Chiswick Catholic Centre, 2 Dukes Avenue, London, W4 2AE
Programme:
🎭 Traditional folk games, introduction to simple children’s dances
💃 Singing games, circle dances and jumping dances from Moldva and Felcsík
👗Folk costume presentation
🐣Closing games, song learning
🎻 Accompanied by authentic live folk music by Kállai Band
Instructors: Dancers from the Hunique Dance Ensemble
Entry Fee:
• Children: £10 (Free for under 2s, discount for siblings)
