About this Event
Discover the beauty and tradition of Tatreez, the rich Palestinian art of cross stitch embroidery. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn basic stitching techniques, explore traditional patterns, and create your own embroidered moon of bethlehem. Whether you're a beginner or have experience, this is a space to connect, create, and celebrate Palestinian heritage through thread and needle.
This workshop is led by Haifa Staiti, a Palestinian Tatreez artist and mental health counsellor. With a passion for cultural preservation and community healing, she brings an approach that blends storytelling, mindfulness, and tradition through the art of embroidery.
All supplies will be provided. No experience necessary!
Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
