🥔 SAVE THE DATE: TATERFEST 3 / September 26, 2026 The rumors are true—the spudz are officially comin' back to town! We’re peeling back the curtain to announce that TATERFEST is returning to Mount Jackson on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
If you thought last year was a "mash" hit, just wait until you see what we’re digging up for TATERFEST 3 in 2026. We’re bringing back all your starchy favorites and a few new surprises that’ll have you saying, "Hot Potato—it's Tater Time!"
WHY DO FOLKS LOVE TATERFEST?
Since our very first harvest, TaterFest has become a beloved a new community tradition for more than 3,000 potato-lovin' folks. Why? Because everyone loves carbs and a good dose of quirky fun! It’s a day where small-town creativity and camaraderie take center stage. From the shared laughs at the starting line of the "Couch Potato" race to the local artisans showcasing their talents, it’s a true celebration of what makes Mount Jackson such a "peeling" place to live and visit.

The Spud-tacular Classics: The Couch Potato 1-Miler (no shame in embracing your inner sloth!), the Tater Catapult Launch, and the high-stakes Cowpie Bingo!
The Tasty Tussles: Get ready for the French Fry Eating Contest and the creamy concoctions of Granny’s Tater Salad Contest.
Pageantry & Pride: Who will be crowned this year's Lil Miss Sweet Potato or Mr. Spud Muffin?
Ag & Arts: Explore the Antique Tractor Show, our Agricultural Education Exhibits, and the Mashed Potato Sculpting Contest.
The Full Spread: Live music on the main stage, a bustling Farmer’s Market, the Tater-Tot Kids Zone, and a refreshing Beer & Wine Garden for the 21+ crowd.
