Ever wanted to try out watercolour painting?A preferred medium of many artists, the soft colours and luminous translucent effects cannot be achieved with other mediums such as oil paints.
Suitable for beginners, this is a bite size hour with local Artist Melanie in which she will show examples of her own work, offer tips for best approach, which materials to go for and a demonstration of how to get started. All materials and equipment are provided. Feel free if you already have some kit, to bring it along. You will see demonstrations and try out a few watercolour techniques yourself under Mel's guidance.
You will produce a small postcard painting to take away along with the confidence to purchase your kit items and continue at home.
