About this Event
Tasting
This is your chance to taste a wide range of wines from wineries that qualified as Top Wineries of Australia in 2026. It’s a veritable who’s who of Australian wineries stretching from Tasmania to Orange and from Margaret River to Mudgee, hand-selected from the best producers of our 2026 rankings.
It’s a stand up and walk around event, an intimate opportunity to meet, taste and talk to the artisans and winemakers behind many of Australia’s finest wineries. It’s also an opportunity to taste some of the country's rarest bottles and perhaps even get a sneak peek of upcoming releases.
Chief reviewer Huon Hooke will be your MC for the day and available to answer questions and provide you with tips of must-try wines.
The Top Wineries of Australia 2026 list is going to be published on the Monday, 11th of May.
The tasting events will be held on Saturday, 18th of July 2026 at Glasshouse, Melbourne, Saturday 25th of July at Kimpton Margot’s Hammond Room, Sydney and Saturday, 1st of August at Crystalbrook Vincent in Brisbane.
Attendees will enjoy tastings of all wines and a full grazing station.
- Session 1 from 12:30pm to 3:00pm
- Masterclass from 3:00pm until 4:30pm
- Session 2 from 4:30pm to 7:00pm
Your ticket also includes a complimentary 3-month trial membership to The Real Review.
Masterclass
This unmissable Masterclass will showcase a wide-ranging selection of the best wines from a variety of grape varieties, makers and regions across Australia. Several of the wines are from finalists in The Real Review Top Wineries Awards 2026, and chief reviewer Huon Hooke will be leading the discussion assisted by one of Australia’s top winemakers Paul Bridgeman from Levantine Hill Estate.
This is a sit-down class for a limited number of people, as distinct from the main Top Wineries exhibition which is a stand up and walk around event accommodating many more tasters and many more wines!
In Conversation
This is a new event in which you are invited to join in the conversation with an esteemed winemaker whose wineries figure in The Real Review Top Wineries Australia 2026. Each session features a 15-minute conversation led by a winemaker sharing the journey behind their label, philosophy and wine over a glass of something special from their collection – this is one for passionate wine enthusiasts!

- Elena Brooks of Dandelion Vineyards (Melbourne & Sydney)
- Chester Osborn of D’Arenberg (Melbourne & Sydney)
