Taste of Downtown Sarasota

Sunset Food Tours offers several experiences and Taste of Downtown Sarasota is one of the most popular! It has ranked #24 on the Tripadvisor's List of U.S. Food Tours (out of more than 500), it has received the Viator Badge of Excellence, it consistently receives 5-star reviews and repeat guests.

It is a guided walking tour led by a local expert, who shares the local history, culture, folklore, and current events along the walking route. Guests are treated to quick sit-down sampler/shared appetizer plates in popular local eateries.

It involves walking outdoors in various weather conditions for 30-40 minutes and then 30 minutes inside an air-conditioned restaurant, alternatively for 3-4 hours. This is a group event designed for adults. Single tickets can be purchased but a tour requires a minimum of four total guests. Curated experiences for corporate groups can be arranged, too.

Restaurant partners are already established and are not chosen by the guests. It is not always the same eateries each tour.

Reservations must be booked and paid in advance so that restaurant reservations can be made. Food allergies and dietary restrictions can be accommodated within reason, if disclosed upon booking. Due to potential allergy or health concerns of guests, smoking of any kind (cigarette, cigar, vape, etc) is prohibited throughout the duration of the tour, even while outside.
