About this Event

Let Them Cook Collective presents a night of kink and cruising at Hive Mind Books!

We're turning up the party lights for an evening of delicious queer connection that engages all of our senses. Chef Amun-Ra is preparing a menu of fancy tiny bites to sample and savor. In between tastes, write a desire and description of yourself on a piece of paper and post it on the cruising wall hosted by Blu. Browse a selection of kinky books curated by Hive Mind Books. Come in kink gear and cruise queer cuties!

This event is ticketed. Tickets are $15 and include food. No one turned away for lack of funds.

Hive Mind Books is a quere and trans bookstore and coffeeshop in Bushwick.

ABOUT THE CREATIVE COORDINATORS

Amun-Ra (he/him) is an AfroIndigenous transmasc chef, sex educator, and space-holder based in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. He is an organizer with Submit, and curates kinky queer events from mixers to classes to BIPOC-centered play parties throughout the Greater NYC Area. 10 years of being active in the New York queer kink scene have impacted Amun-Ra’s approach to kink education and organizing by inspiring him to empower queer and BIPOC folks to take charge of their sex lives and ask for what they want, continually and with self-advocacy. Amun-Ra’s Creole-Japanese fusion cuisine is a love offering to his queer community, and a reflection of his family’s rich cultural traditions that he sustains to this day. His favorite kinks are food play, Petplay, and organizing BIPOC playspaces (the compersion is real!!)

Blu (they/she) is a queer Black femme kinkster, house top, and organizer based in Brooklyn, NY. They are passionate about bringing people together around kink, through community events hosted at their home that include their famous “cruising wall”, featured at CARNAL, Submit, and other queer kink fetes in the Greater NYC Area. Their favorite kinks are needles, predicament bondage, and electroplay.

Let Them Cook Collective was born out of the love Amun-Ra and Blu have for the community and ☺️each other 🥹Two best friends with a platonic life partnership dynamic founded LTCC in 2025 to help connect queer and trans folks to better experiences around kink, focusing on intentional connection, vetting, and negotiation of kinky dynamics. We hope that in attending one of our events, you come closer to living out your kinkiest hearts desires, in community with queers who genuinely care about your well-being. We can’t wait to meet you at a future event!
