About this Event
DOORS 6PM | SHOW 7PM
Why do all successful women have their confidence ruined by a man with no bed frame? Sophie explores this, and more, in her new solo show Taste.
When Sophie gets the hint that the skaterboy podcaster of her dreams is going to ghost her, she decides to lock him in her apartment so as to stop him from getting away and force him to talk through his emotions. Through this show, Sophie hopes to answer the question why boys like Matty Healy break up with girls like Taylor Swift.
Sophie Zucker is an Emmy nominated comedian, living in Brooklyn. She's currently a writer on The Daily Show.
Other credits include AppleTV's Dickinson; HBOMax’s Sweethearts, and the upcoming Tim Robinson's The Chair Company and an animated pilot for Paramount. Her previous one woman show "Sophie Sucks Face" had a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe, where it was shortlisted for the Comedian's Choice Award and recommended by British Comedy Guide. She performs with her all-female comedy collective Ladies Who Ranch all over New York. Taste is directed by Dylan Guerra (The Other Two), produced by Connor Scully (The Tank) and features performance by Sam Lanier (Simple Town), Ryan Martin Brown (5th Floor Pictures) and Kareem Rahma (Subway Takes).
