Join us in Glen Park at on Tuesday, September 23, for a 10-minute meaningful Tashlich ritual. We will sound the shofar and toss bird seed into the water, as we symbolically rid ourselves of the transgressions of the last year. NOTE: Glen Park strictly prohibits the throwing of bread or breadcrumbs as it is a hazard to the ducks and other wildlife. Please do not bring these items. Everyone is welcome to celebrate the New Year with this beautiful ritual.
Location Details: Glen Park is at 224 Glen Ave., north of Main Street and south of Glen Avenue, between Mill Street and E. Spring Street/Rock Street. We will meet below the waterfall. Parking is available off of Glen Avenue, near Nature Play at Glen Park -- a playground designed to encourage children to climb, crawl, and let their imaginations run wild.
