SPECIAL INTEREST DAY: The music of the 1960s, covering the themes:-(1) She Loves You - the story of the early 60s when interest in rock’n’roll started to fade and, in 1963, one of the most creative and innovative periods in the history of music was launched;
(2) Like a Rolling Stone - in1965 British music dominated the charts on both sides of the Atlantic, but in America the civil rights and anti war movements were influencing a new breed of writers and musicians;
(3) Those were the days - the final years of the Sixties brought the Summer of Love, the world’s first boy band and the return of the King. Pop was growing up and splitting up and suddenly it was all over.
