About this Event
Tasavu: Live stand-up every first Monday at Redline Contemporary Arts Center.
Tasavu is a special clown made by the Hopi that are meant to mock their larger, more prominent neighbors, the Navajo. They are often depicted as obese, injured, sloppy, or having a silly face. Joshua Emerson, a Navajo comedian based in Denver, is in many ways, the real world personification of a Tasavu. And that is the inspiration of this show.
Come join DeadRoom Comedy every first Monday at the Redline Contemporary Arts Center as we bring the best in local and national comedy talent to Denver, Colorado. Comedians, like artisans of wit, craft jokes as finely honed as well-aged scotch. Join us for an evening where humor dances on the edge of a punchline, where every quip is a stroke of genius. Bring your friends, sip on inspiration and immerse yourself in the comedy of the Tasavu.
