What is Tarraxo and who is Liliana De Lima? Tarraxo is a dance style on it's own, but you can use many of the elements from this dance when you dance Kizomba Fusion/Urban kizz on the social dancefloor. 🤩

The Level:
The level will be open level for the 3H Tarraxo Bootcamp - this means that you can participate both if you have some experience or if you have never tried Tarraxo before.
The level will be open level/intermediate for the 1.5H Kizomba Fusion workshop. This means that some experience is a great plus. We will start at a very basic level and then make it more and more challenging.

What is Tarraxo, and who is Liliana De Lima?
Tarraxo is a couples dance that was born from the Kizomba Parties in Paris in 2014 ✅ Tarraxo often works with deep rythms and strong beats that brings out groundedness and power in your body! ✅ Tarraxo is danced in couple and with a high sense of mutual respect. The leaders are not directly leading the followers, rather they are suggesting and then the follower responds. This makes tarraxo a very consensual dance and breaks up the old gender norms in couples dancing. ✅ Anyone can lead or follow regardless of gender. High level tarraxo dancers end up not leading nor following but rather sharing a conversation with their bodies. ✅ Tarraxo is highly technical and works a lot with body control and isolations. Liliana will help you reach higher levels to know your body better and to improve your relationship with yourself and others in the dance.
About Liliana:
Liliana was born in a family of musicians and has always been surrounded by live music and rythms. She started dancing ballet in the Royal Theatre of Copenhagen when she was 7 and has since then studied different styles such as jazz, jazz-ballet, Caribbean dances and Samba.
She started teaching samba in 2009. Kizomba and Semba came into her life in 2011 shen she joined “Semba Denmark” and she started assisting classes shortly after. She learned with great names in the Kizomba scene was focused on the authentic dances from 2011 to 2014 where she discovered “Kizomba French Style” now known as Urban Kiz. She became the first teacher to offer Urban Kiz in Denmark and during this period she also started teaching internationally.
From 2014-2018 Liliana got experience with international teaching while she also opened her school “Copenkiz” with Emilie Blønd. In 2019 she started her partnership with Gwany, creator of tarraxo, and has since then worked almost exclusively with Tarraxo. She has taught in all corners of the world and she has organised and hosted teachers certifications where she certifies new tarraxo teachers globally. There are currently more than 200 international tarraxo teachers certified by Liliana and Gwany.
Liliana is known for her strong teaching abilities, language skills and analytical approach. Liliana is a teacher before she is a dancer and that becomes very clear once you join her classes.
