As we mark the 212th anniversary of his birth (March 9, 1814 – March 10, 1861), we invite you to gather for an afternoon of poetry and music inspired by the voice that still speaks to every Ukrainian heart.

Shevchenko was not only a poet, but a witness, a fighter, a dreamer of freedom. His words continue to steady, challenge, and remind us who we are.

At a time when Ukraine once again defends its freedom, his poetry feels especially close. We draw courage from his faith in a free Ukraine and from his unwavering love for his people.
