This summer, camp runs from 12pm Thursday 16th January - 11am Monday 20th January 2025. Our venue is the beautiful Te Wera Valley Lodge.
Camp fees are $92 per person for ages 5+ for the whole camp.
Camp is co-created. Many hands make light work and there is a lot of time to hang out and chat, join in with activities etc, however it does requires everyone to participate in camp in some form, whether it's running activities, helping in the kitchen, sweeping up after meals etc.
This year we are asking that at a minimum, one person from every family does a cleaning or kitchen task every day. End-of-camp cleaning tasks will be delegated - if you need to leave early please let us know so that you can contribute to cleaning the camp in some way before you leave.
•This camp is open to the whole country and is specifically an ‘unschoolers/life learners’ camp (which looks different for everyone and it’s not our place to say whether your flavour of homeschooling is unschooling, that’s up to you!) It is however important to us that at least one person in the family is currently at home learning and not ‘used to be’ or ‘could be in the future’.
