The much-loved Tapton Lock Festival returns for 2025 — and it’s bigger, brighter, and more creative than ever! Set along the beautiful Chesterfield Canal, this free two-day celebration of community and culture is packed with hands-on activities, live performances, and outdoor fun for all ages.This year, the festival is teaming up with Arts Derbyshire and their exciting touring programme, Festivity, to bring even more arts and culture to the water’s edge.

🛶 Outdoor Adventures: free canal boat rides, canoeing, climbing wall & circus skills
