Memorial Day 2026 (5/25/26) we gather to honor our heros who paid the ultimate price to protect our freedom. We invite everyone who wants to attend, plus any musician who can play the 24 notes of TAPS. We will gather/organize and warmup about 2:30. Lexington VFW will provide an "empty chair" ceremony. We will pledge allegiance and have other similar short presentations. THEN at exactly 3:00 our musicians will play TAPS. We have had all types instruments. Bugles, trumpets, trumbones, french horns, acoustic guitars, bagpipes, mellophone, electric guitars saxophones.................................if you can play it, please come support this great event. Each musician will be given a $10 Ohara's gift card as thanks. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to support the event.
