As part of St Albans City of Ale weekend, you can find a number of venues hosting "tap takeovers", showcasing some of Britain's finest brewers.Verdant began life back in Autumn 2014 when homebrewers Adam and James teamed up with Rich to craft US-inspired beers that weren’t available locally. Based in Cornwall, since that time the brewery has moved from Falmouth to Penryn, and the team has continued to grow alongside the demand for their beer!
The brewery now operates with a team of 40 people, all driven by the same passion. Their ethos revolves around brewing flavour-packed beers and ensuring that beer lovers have access to delicious, quality-driven releases week after week.
Come and experience what Verdant is all about at this special tap takeover at the Craft and Cleaver. Recently refurbished, the Craft & Cleaver has been part of the St Albans beer scene since 2015. As well as craft beers, the venue specialises in authentic Brooklyn-style barbecue and smoked meats - a perfect combination!
This is just one of an array of events taking place as part of the St Albans City of Ale weekend. For full listings, see stalbanscityofale.org.uk
