This one hour class begins with approximately 40 minutes of Tao Yin Yoga, followed by approximately 20 minutes of guided meditation with crystal singing bowls and gong.Tao Yin is a practice that combines yoga and Qigong.
It is an ancient Chinese healing art and moving meditation that focuses on increasing vital energy (Qi) through rhythmic stretching, breathing, and mindful movement. We hold some poses, and we move through some poses, doing lots of deep breathing.
-This is a beginner friendly class!
-We have extra mats, bolsters, pillows, & blankets if you need them.
-Wear comfortable clothing! A bathroom is available for changing if you need one!
-The cost is $10 drop-in, or $8 with punch card.
-Punch cards may be purchased in cash at the studio and are $40 for 5 classes.
