TANTRON (NL):
Hailing from the Netherlands, the 22-year-old TANTRON is rapidly gaining traction in the global Drum ‘n Bass scene. From his toddler years banging pots and pans in the kitchen to performing for audiences worldwide, music has always been Hugo's driving passion. With an electrifying stage presence, his innovative sound design and a distinctive appearance, TANTRON is renowned for his hyperactive performances, signature sound and iconic bucket hat style—not to mention his quirky obsession with apples.
Despite only discovering Drum ‘n Bass in 2019, following his years of experience with other genres like trap, hardstyle, and house, TANTRON delved deep into the genre during his studies at the Rockacademie in Tilburg, in the time of the pandemic, refining his skills and crafting a distinct identity.
The year 2023 proved pivotal for TANTRON, marked by notable achievements. He made his debut at the prominent festival Rampage, gracing both the mainstage at Rampage Open Air and Rampage Amsterdam during Amsterdam Dance Event — fulfilling multiple childhood dreams. Also, his remix of the Black Eyed Peas' "Pump It" captured global attention, accumulating over 40 million views across platforms and earning recognition from the Black Eyed Peas themselves in early 2024.
With his meteoric rise and boundless creativity, TANTRON continues to push the limits of Drum ‘n Bass, captivating audiences and destined to leave a lasting impression on the music scene.
