Tango Tuesday at Two Left Feet Newport News
I’m getting a new series started at Two Left Feet dance studio in Kiln Creek, Newport News, and I’d love to see some new faces there. If you’ve ever been curious about Argentine Tango but felt intimidated by the "drama" or the complex steps you see on social media, this is for you.
We aren't aiming for a stage performance. This is the "Tango Lab"—a simple, low-pressure space where we can figure out the mechanics of the dance together. We focus on the actual connection between two people and how to make the movement feel natural and social.
The Basics
- Absolute beginners are the goal: We’re starting from scratch, so don’t worry if you feel like you have no rhythm.
- No partner? No problem: We’ll all be switching around, so you don't need to bring anyone along.
- Wear whatever: You don't need fancy shoes or a suit. Just wear something comfortable and shoes that aren't too "grippy" on a wood floor.

Cost (pay at the door)
- Drop-in: $15
- 4-Week Pass: $48 (a nice 20% discount if you're planning to stick around)
