Tango for Beginners: Introduction to Social Tango Dancing + Milonga
This evening is designed so you can walk into a tango social and feel like you belong—even if you’ve never danced before.
No experience needed—just an open mind.
We begin with a guided, beginner-friendly introduction, ideal for anyone new to tango or looking for a simple refresher before stepping onto the dance floor. Within minutes, you’ll be moving to the music in a natural, comfortable way—no pressure, no complicated steps. Everything is taught step by step, so you can follow comfortably at your own pace.
You’ll also be gently introduced to the flow and etiquette of a milonga, so you can feel at ease and confident in the social setting.
The goal isn’t to “learn tango” in a short time—it’s to feel comfortable enough to enjoy it. By the end of the introduction, you’ll have everything you need to step onto the dance floor and participate.
Right after the introduction, enjoy a special performance by tango maestros, showcasing the elegance, connection, and passion of authentic Argentine tango.
Then the dance floor opens for the milonga—a social tango evening where everyone is invited to dance, meet people, and enjoy the music together.
Light appetizers will be provided, and a cash bar will be available.
Open to all levels. No partner or previous experience required. This is a welcoming, social environment where everyone has the opportunity to connect and participate.
