What we’ll do at the Tango Creativity Experience

Day 1 - Strengthening your inner artist - 10 AM to 5 PM
Session 1: Technique & Musicality in the Walk
Build stability, posture, and axis for both roles.
Learn how to walk musically and interpret phrasing.
Session 2: Deep Connection & Embrace Variations
Explore close and open embraces.
Practice influence and responsiveness for co-creation.
Day 2 - Developing your creativity - 10 AM to 5 PM
Session 3: Playing with Rhythm & Dynamics
Discover how to adapt steps to slow, fast, and syncopated music.
Experiment with musical accents and contrasts together.
Session 4: Creative Expression in Small Spaces
Learn strategies for improvisation when space is limited.
Practice playful variations that keep connection intact.
Day 3 - Co-creating with your partner - 10 AM to 5 PM
Session 5: Musical Interpretation & Creative Tools
How to make sense of the music: melody vs rhythm, phrasing.
Add personality through timing, pauses, and adornos (for both roles).
Session 6: Integration & Co-Creation
Combine technique, musicality, and creativity.
Practice creating dances that feel fresh, expressive, and connected.
